Benefits of Whole Flower Hemp Oil

November 25, 2020 by Theo Leave a Comment

Hemp seed oil is also known as hemp oil. Hemp oil is produced by cold-pressing hemp seeds. Unrefined hemp oil has a greenish color. It usually has a nutty flavor. But is hemp oil the same as CBD oil? The answer is not exactly. Cannabidiol oil is extracted from the cannabis plant. On the other hand, hemp seed oil is produced directly from the hemp seed. It does not normally contain any tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) content. However, in 2017, researchers observed that some CBD oils also contain trace amounts of THC.

The big question is: what are the health benefits of whole flower hemp oil? Hemp oils have been associated with numerous therapeutic benefits including skin health. Since they contain the full spectrum of the hemp plant, whole flower oil allows you to experience the entourage effect to a greater degree than pure CBD oil.

Is hemp oil healthy for your skin?

It’s thought that hemp oil is helpful to the skin because it has nourishing vitamins and moisturizing effects. There are several skin benefits users can derive from hemp seed oils. Some of those benefits are as follows.

· Moderates production of oil

Hemp oil suits different skin types due to its ability to moisturize the skin without clogging the pores. It can also moderate oily skin, as well as hydrate and regulate how your skin produces oil. Dryness may cause your skin to produce too much oil, which isn’t healthy for it. Hemp oil fights acne since it doesn’t cause clogging.

· Moisturizes your skin and soothes inflammation

The gamma-linolenic acid in hemp oil has great anti-inflammatory properties. This encourages skin growth and promotes the production of new cells. When you have inflammation of your skin, hemp oil could be useful.

· Fights atopic dermatitis

Because it contains healthy amounts of Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, hemp oil can be used to manage the symptoms of atopic dermatitis. In one study, it was discovered that hemp oil reduces the symptoms of atopic dermatitis after about 3 weeks.

· Anti-aging properties

Apart from functioning as a skin moisturizer, hemp oil also exhibits anti-aging properties. This is good news for those who want to keep their skin looking young forever. When you apply hemp oil, it can heal your wrinkles. The linoleic and oleic acids in hemp seed oils play a crucial role in your skin’s health; they also have anti-aging properties.

How to use whole flower hemp oil

Consumers use different methods to deliver hemp oils to their bodies. These include:

· Topical use

After buying a whole flower hemp oil consumers can apply it straight to their skins. This method may work for you if you are experiencing skin irritation and want to soothe it immediately. To avoid any unwelcome reactions, always conduct a patch test on your skin. In using hemp oil to treat your acne, you can apply it topically to your skin; but remember to wash it away with warm water after 2 minutes.

· Oral use

You can also ingest hemp oil. Oral use of hemp oil provides the same healing effects as applying it to your skin directly.

Side effects of whole flower hemp oil

For most people, hemp oils work without creating high feelings. However, some people who use hemp oil topically may experience mild irritation. You can test hemp oil by applying it to a small area of your skin to check if it causes any discomfort to your body.

The following are possible side effects that may occur in some people who use whole flower hemp oil.

· Digestive upset. This is one of the common side effects springing from the use of hemp oil.

· Hemp seed oil, through its interaction with blood thinners, can inhibit platelets.

The health benefits of CBD and hemp oil are based on anecdotal evidence. Therefore, you may want to consult a healthcare professional before you use these products.
